With our wedding just a few weeks away, I wanted to make something really special to share with you. I used the same dress pattern I made for my welcome dinner, but this version is completely cyanotype printed by hand with some of my favorite flowers. It turned out to be such a beautiful, twirly dress and truly feels like the perfect “Something Blue.”
And because I wanted everyone to have the chance to win, no matter their size, I’m giving away TWO dresses to TWO winners.
💙 The Dresses
Winner #1: The Original Something Blue Dress
One winner will receive the exact dress pictured here. This dress is completely one of a kind, handmade and cyanotype printed using real flowers and botanicals. Every piece of fabric was exposed in the sun before being sewn together, creating a floral print that can never be recreated exactly the same way.
It’s flowy, full, and VERY twirly, with so much beautiful movement when you wear it.
Original Dress Measurements:
Bust: 41”
Waist: 35”
Please make sure the measurements will work for you if you choose this dress. The original dress cannot be exchanged for another size. For reference, I typically wear somewhere between a Large and XL, and this dress does fit me, but it’s definitely on the snug side through the bust and waist. I’d describe the fit on me as very “fitted” rather than relaxed.
Winner #2: A Custom Something Blue Dress
The second winner will receive their own custom-sized Something Blue dress, handmade and cyanotype printed just for them.
Your dress will be made to your measurements in a size XXS–3XL and will have the same silhouette and overall design as the original Something Blue dress pictured.
Just like the original, your fabric will be cyanotype printed by hand using real flowers and botanicals before being sewn together. Because every cyanotype is unique, the exact flowers, print placement, and variations will be different from the original. Your dress will be completely one of a kind.

Because these dresses are handmade and printed using the cyanotype process, they deserve a little extra care.
Hand wash or machine wash on cold with a gentle, pH-neutral detergent
Avoid bleach, borax, OxiClean, washing soda, baking soda, powdered detergents, and other alkaline cleaners
Air dry or tumble dry on low
Some gentle fading and variation over time is natural with cyanotype
