With our wedding just a few weeks away, I wanted to make something really special to share with you. I made my original “Something Blue” using the same dress pattern I made for my welcome dinner, but completely cyanotype printed by hand with some of my favorite flowers. It turned out to be such a beautiful, twirly dress and truly feels like the perfect “Something Blue.”
I wanted everyone to have the chance to win one, no matter their size, so I’m making a second Something Blue dress just for one of you.
💙 About the Dress
The winner will receive their own custom-sized version of my Something Blue dress, handmade and cyanotype printed using real flowers and botanicals.
Your dress will be made to your measurements in a size XXS–3XL. Just like the original, the fabric will be cyanotype printed by hand before being sewn together, so your floral placement and prints will be completely unique. No two cyanotypes are ever exactly the same, which means your dress will truly be one of a kind.
It will have the same flowy, full, VERY twirly silhouette as the dress pictured here, but made especially for you.
I love the idea that something I created to celebrate this season of my life will get to become part of someone else’s story, too. 💙
This listing is for the CUSTOM Something Blue dress, available in sizes XXS–3XL. The dress pictured is the original and is shown as a reference for the design and overall look. Your dress will have its own unique cyanotype prints and floral placement.
If the original Something Blue dress is already your size Large (bust 41”, waist 35”), you can enter to win that exact dress here.

Because your dress will be handmade and printed using the cyanotype process, it deserves a little extra care.
Hand wash or machine wash on cold with a gentle, pH-neutral detergent
Avoid bleach, borax, OxiClean, washing soda, baking soda, powdered detergents, and other alkaline cleaners
Air dry or tumble dry on low
Some gentle fading and variation over time is natural with cyanotype
